Welcome

This blog is the creation of students in a first-year writing course at Santa Clara University. Our course, Critical Thinking and Writing, is focused on the theme of animal/human/machine, and we ended this quarter by reading Kazuo Ishiguro's novel Never Let Me Go. Our posts reflect on what the novel has to tell us, and how it leads us to think about, the human in relation to art, rebellion, monsters, anger, replacements, and mortality.
